So, as the end of the year gets close you should be thinking about next year’s marketing strategy, objectives and developing your 2024 marketing plan. Before you start planning for next year you need to review this year’s plan and activity to understand what worked and what did not. To help you do this I have developed some easy to follow steps:
What is a marketing review?
A marketing review is a complete analysis and audit of your marketing strategy, objectives and activities. By evaluating all your activity, you will be able to pinpoint your business’s strengths and weaknesses and feed this valuable insight into next year’s plan. Enabling you to realign your business objectives and ensure you focus your activities towards your strengths. This maximises your opportunity for success by making solid decisions based on reliable data. Plus, you will be to allocate your precious marketing budget in the right places.
Review your market place
In addition to reviewing your marketing activities it is very beneficial to understand your market and any changes too:
- Review your competitor’s activity? Identify any changes and if there are any opportunities?
- Has there been any alterations or innovations in your market and how will this effect next year’s plan?
- What adjustments have taken place in your organisation and how will this impact next year’s plan?
Once you have completed your review you can start and develop next year’s marketing plan and strategy. Any questions about marketing planning or any other marketing activity please get in touch.
